Google taking on Facebook?

Seems rather premature to say Google is trying to take on Facebook, but in all reality, buzz is not the first step they have taken towards the Social Networking scene. I for one thing Google is doing the right thing. They are building a loyalty and following on par with Apple, but with technology that I believe has the potential to exceed Apple's by a good distance. Only time will tell, but for now let the Buzz go on!
