If you've been developing on SharePoint, you've probably had to use CAML in some fashion or another. If so, then you'll appreciate a new editor by Carlos Segura. Definitely a tool that can be utilized by many developers out there. Here's a preview screen shot on CAML Editor v1.0

Removing AOL Explorer from AIM Triton
I rebuilt my computer at home and work and installed AIM Triton only to be dissapointed with the neww "addons" it bundles in (specifically AOL Explorer). It's another software company that tries to shove additional software down your throat when you're not asking for it. Unfortunately, in this case there was no option to not install AOL Explorer during the installation. However, if you go to the install directory in your program files for AOL Explorer, there is an uninstall option. Works like a charm!!!

Splitting WSS Databases
This tool automates splitting large Windows Sharepoint Services Databases into several smaller Databases. Based on an input, the process locks, backups, deletes and restores a SiteCollection. This is great for backup and restores on larger WSS sites. Those who have worked with 2+ Gb sites can appreciate this.

New Internet Hot Spot
A few of my buddies from Washington D.C. have put together a new streaming 24 hour online radio station with great tunes. Most of the music is Hip Hop, Funk and some soul. Definately something to check out for the music enthusiasts.

Google putting more pressure on Microsoft
Looks like businesses now have yet another option to hosting their domains and e-mail. Google announced today their enterprise solution for business:
SmartPart Version 1.1
Any customer Web Part developer should be looking at Jan Tielen's SmartPart 1.1 to help in with their development. It's basically a SharePoint Webpart that can host any ASP.NET user control which gives you the ability to create your webparts using the VS.NET designer instead of programmatically coding by hand!
